This pack is durable, well made, well designed. If you need an excellent daypack for hunting or combat this pack is perfect. No downsides whatsoever. multiple, well-designed pockets that you can use, everything accessable. H2o compatible, the bladder can also be removed for added storage capacity. Straps all roll up with velcro keepers so you don't have strap ends hanging all over the place. BUY THIS PACK, WORTH EVERY PENNY. YOU WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER DAYPACK EVER AGAIN. I would give this pack 10 stars, but 5 is my highest option.

Like all of the Camelbak products the Linchpin is high quality and well thought out. There are times I wish it had a waistbelt but because it is torso adjustable, it fits like a glove. I don't know, I wish you had the option of using a waistbelt or not. Something you could snap on/off. Maybe I wouldn't miss not having the waistbelt if I had the option of trying one with?I really like the simple cap Camelbak put over the drinking mouthpiece. I was always getting my last hydration tube mouthpiece full of dirt.The only real negative I have is that for it's 32 liter size, it's a little heavy at 3.3lbs empty.Update: I lowered my rating on the pack. It's still high quality, nothing wrong with the construction quality. I REALLY wish it had a hipbelt/waistbelt. All the weight just rides on your shoulders. I'm looking at giving this pack to my son and getting something else for myself.
