Product Description
OverMolding provides the ultimate in a comfortable, non-slip, super smooth attractive finish that is durable and extremely quiet. The exclusive Cobblestone texture further enhances all Hogue stocks by providing an efficient non-slip, non irritating stippling pattern. OverMolded Stocks are constructed by molding a super strong, rigid fiberglass reinforced skeleton or "insert" that precisely fits the guns' action. This rigid skeleton is then OverMolded with a durable but soft synthetic elastomer (rubber). During the heat and extreme pressure of injection molding the elastomer adheres chemically as well as mechanically to the skeleton, resulting in a permanent bond between the rubber and the insert. The super strong skeleton gives the stocks their strength, and the precise molded dimensions provide a perfect drop-in fit of your rifle or shotgun. The state of the art elastomer material used on Hogue stocks won't harden with age and is virtually impervious to all oils and solvents found around firearms, providing years of dependable service.

I INSTALLED THESE ON MY WINCHESTER DEFENDER 1300 AND COULDN'T BE HAPPIER. THE FIT IS FLAWLESS, THE QUALITY IS FANTASTIC, AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT.

I decided to go back from pistol grip stock to standard but wanted to stay with polymer for the weight. This filled the bill nicely. As always Hogue has it nailed. Fit is perfect, finish is good and overall makes my shotgun fun to shoot again.

I purchased the Hogue stock and fore end to place onto a well used Winchester model 1200. The installation was simple and the sections fit well and also lightened the shotgun. The finish on the material used for the parts is durable and aids in gripping the shotgun. The recoil pad reduces the felt recoil on the gun when compared to the older one. The parts did not come loose after firing 15-1 ounce slugs, 25-00 buck and 25 bird shot shells.If anyone changes their stock and fore end there two caveats. The fore end requires the proper tool to remove the old fore end and then install the new one. The fore end tool is available on Amazon from a few different vendors and will also work on some Mossbergs and Remingtons for the same purpose.. The old stock can be removed with a standard blade 9 inch screwdriver, but not the new stock as the 1/4 inch retaining nut is not slotted on the bolt used for Hogue stock. I used 3-3 inch extensions on a 1/4 ratchet that made it easier than using a screwdriver. Total installation time was less than 5 minutes.
