One year follow up 2/16/2013):This holster is still my daily carry choice - it goes on my belt every day about 99.99% of the time, the other 0.01% of the time I'm wearing the Kangroo Carry shoulder holster. The Bianchi is holding up extremely well, still completely satisfied with the choice - zero regrets and I highly recommend the holster. (I have no interest in promoting this product - I just really like it :) )---------------------------------------------------I've been carrying my M&P 9 mm Compact IWB (Galco KingTuk) which has worked out really well and I like the KingTuk - however not wanting to fill a closet full of new trousers one waist size larger, I started to look at OWB carry.While I wanted a high quality holster, I did not want to wait 4-12 weeks to have it built or pay $100 for two pieces of leather sewn together that may or may not work well for me. So after quite a bit of research, I settled on Bianchi and then chose the model 57 "Remedy." The overall holster size looked appropriate, they had a model specific to my M&P Compact (size 13A) and I liked the forward cant or angle of the holster as it sits on the belt.Impressions -Build quality is excellent and the holster has a beautiful fit, finish and appearance, in fact I think it looks like a holster twice as expensive. The leather is perfectly formed to fit my M&P and hold it securely. In fact, it holds the pistol so well I have been unholstering and holstering the weapon many times to get it broken in. It will be interesting to see if the holster loosens up to the point to where it doesn't seem secure the pistol well enough since there is no retention mechanism other than the friction of the leather.In the pictures uploaded of the holster on my belt, note the width of my belt is exactly 1.5" which is the width of belt opening on the holster. With a 1.5" wide belt, the holster stays exactly in position and doesn't wobble around.The draw angle is just perfect for me and it must be about the same as my KingTuk.Conclusions -The model 57 is a tremendous value for the money and I'm extremely pleased with my choice. Highly recommended.

I don't want to dog this holster too much as I did get what I paid for. For the price the holster is ok, but its not great. The picture lead me to believe there was a little more of a forward cant than what there truly is (looked like the belt loops would provide the cant). Secondly the leather is pretty thin and I can see it breaking down over time (much quicker than thicker leather). All in all, I rate it at 3 star, because it is good for the money, but I believe it would be better to pay an extra $50 or so and get a nice Mitch Rosen or comparable holster.
