This is a copy of many similar type bits out there. All at much higher price, like 30-$40 more. This bit is just like those more expensive ones. The quality seems very good. And my horse seems to accept it and like it beter than the mild curb bit I was using. She stays in her gait better. So I think it does just what it claims in this respect. I would highly recommend.

I purchased this bit for my new TWH as this is the type of bit he was used too. He responds well to it. I tried it on my Peruvian Paso, he has more "go", and seems to like it. Much more comfortable that the tom thumb snaffel I have been using with him
