Product Description
Many operators see the G4 Operator as the ultimate scout/sniper pack. It represents everything that Eberlestock has learned about the needs of the professional military sniper community. It is a true go-to-war pack, derived from the lessons learned from our Phantom and Gunslinger products.
When shooting from the pack, you have direct access to all of the pockets. The side pockets peel back to expose PALS-type webbing that can be used to mount ammo or other items.
The Operator has elements similar to other Eberlestock packs. Its layout is much like the Phantom, but it's bigger and has a two-chamber main compartment, plus the outer front pockets. Like the Gunslinger, the Operator's pack bag and BackscabbardTM are sewn integrally together. We've built the pack to satisfy the reality that a classic "drag bag" is rarely likely to be used by a modern military scout or sniper, and we gain some benefits of simplicity and weight savings by integrating the whole package into a single unit.
Note: The scabbard locks into the bottom of the pack when not being used to carry longer weapons.

By just a cook
To start off good pack,shipping was fast this was a bush order for me.I plan on ordering more "EBERLESTOCK".the pack is comfortable with 100LBs,Most of the pack is single stitched with strong thread it had severalhanging pieces of thread they melted easely with a lighter.My 26lb 56in rifle fits better barrel up with less movement.The down side is that the cover dose not work well in this configuration and the rain fly dose not cover the barrel as show in some of the pics on various sites.The pack has a lot of pockets for stowage options,great zippers,material is simalar to carhart work wear.The pack is set up so that you can put this pack on without any assistance using the 2 side handles,2-3liter hydros fit well with hanging clips inside side pockets.I plan on gettin scope-barrel cover padded,2-3liter saddle bags,shot gun scabard,and multipack to finish off the setup at this time.More items in the near future as needs arrise.Over all:well worth the investment!

I've been wanting a pack from Eberlestock for over a year but was hesitant to invest that amount of money into a pack that I've never seen or held. When it came on sale I bought it instantly but saw that I wouldn't get it until early next year due to so many orders. However, I got it the following week! It is legit! My Rock River LAR15 easily fits and is completely covered. I don't even feel it because there is so much padding on the back. It has so many straps and clips that I will have to buy more stuff just to use them. There's a long pocket on either side that will hopefully be long enough for my moss berg 500. Everything has been made in top quality and reinforced extra bindings or zippers. I am greatly impressed and want to buy another one just to give to my bros! Buy this pack, you won't regret it!

Eberlestock makes high end stuff. Everything is double or triple stitched. I gave a tug on seams and everything holds so well it is unbelievable. Ample storage space, included rain fly.One thing to note, some imagery of the Dry Earth makes it look very white. It is actually much darker than a lot of images show. It's somewhat of a tan brown I would say and there are pictures on the manufacturers website comparing the different colors side by side. I would recommend viewing this prior to deciding on a color. The included rainfly is a very brown color that does not match the pack but this does not bother me a bit.I will be buying another Eberlestock soon for a range bag. Buy this, you will NOT be disappointed.
