The alti xt has all the features of the Suunto Core...alti, baro, comp...and I've had no issues with any of the features. They're spot-on.The watch is big...as big as the Core...but the band is very comfortable, and it's very light on the wrist. The readout is not that bright, and somewhat difficult to read in lower light, but the back light is fine in illuminating it.I was lucky to get mine at $80, and it was a steal! I use it as an 'every day watch' in Afghanistan, and have had no problems so far. Definitely worth the money, and a great watch that does everything that watches 3x the price do. Highly recommended.

I didn't have high hopes for this watch due to my past experience with similar watches, but I must say that I am pleasantly surprised. It has great features, they work really well, and it seems to be quite accurate. All watches of this type require calibration here and there but I'm OK with that. Believe it or not, one of the things I like most about this watch is the band. Its very comfortable, not "rubberized" so it doesn't pull on my arm hair, and the leftover tail stays tucked under the slide they provide thanks to a strategically placed plastic knob inside the slide. I can't tell you how many sports watches I've owned that have been nearly ruined for me by their bands! This one has been well designed.

Purchased this watch for my husband for Christmas, he sent me a website where I could purchase it from, when I went to order it, it was out of stock! Due to ordering my first item from Amazon a few days prior to this, I thought, "hey" let me check Amazon to see if maybe they have it! Not only did they have it, it was $75.00 cheaper! My kind of shopping! I am happy, and he loves his watch! Thanks Amazon!
