The pack was in excellent condition, still even had the instruction manual inside. I did a lot of research before buying this pack so I picked this particular pack based on it's condition of being new/never issued. Do your research on packs before purchasing one as there are lots of different types and sizes. For me this was the perfect bag as I needed a backpacking style of bag but wanted something rugged and "tacti-cool." This fit the bill and I was even more impressed when I received it. There are lots of straps & tie downs, and everything is heavy duty including the zippers & pulls. I don't plan on coming anywhere near the 120 lbs weight capacity, but I know this will last a long time.Down sides are that it is a much heavier bag than a typical backpacking pack (2-3X's the weight) and there was no choice for weight belt size (You can find a smaller and larger size for sale by different vendors).

I was a bit skeptical when I saw the price, but this rucksack is awesome. It was a lot bigger than I thought it would be which was nice. The straps weren't frayed and the clips weren't broken. This ruck is probably the last one that you will ever need.

I was expecting a fairly new item ans advertised, and got me one which shows signgs of extensive use. the hip belt does not fit me right. the bottom part of the belt does not hugh my hips at all, so only about 50% of its surface hughs my hips. i am usure if that is how it is supposed to work. to me it is still ok because although some of the stitching needs to be reinforced, the fabric is tough and durable. i will use it for hicking and car camping, but for backpacking I will not. this item can add too much weight to any load one desires to carry. I think this item wights over 5lbs empty. I do recomend it for those who hike in areas where the terrain can be too harsh for those supper light back packs. I live in the desert southwest and we have to many plants full of thorns and soil laden with coarse lime stone.
