The Jr. holds 40-80 lbs., the Small holds 44-85 lbs., and the Large holds 86-160 lbs. The improved, high-quality design has four handgrips to accommodate different heights. The Jr. has a T-shaped handle and is lighter for smaller children. After a little bit of practice, kids can get the Jumparoo Boing! bouncing up to 2 feet high! For ages 4 and up. Available Color Jr. comes in neon green. Size 37"L; holds 40-80 lbs. Also available: Small (holds 44-85 lbs.) and Large (86-160 lbs.) History behind the pogo stick: A German man named George Hansburg originally exported a wooden pogo stick to the US-based Gimble Brothers Department Store back in 1920. Unfortunately, the wood rotted and warped on its ocean journey, so he contacted a toy designer to improve the design with an all-metal, enclosed-spring pogo stick, and patented his design. To promote the toy, Hansburg was able to teach the famous Ziegfield's Follies how to pogo. The Follies' pogo antics inspired people everywhere to jump on the trend, creating all kinds of pogo tricks and stunts.

My 7 year old grandson was a little hesitant at first when he first got this new pogo, which was his first ever. But after a little encouragement and practice, the hesitancy eventually evaporated into a new found zeal for jumping. Once he got into the up and down jumping rhythm with all his weight, his thrill of bouncing on the Boing pogo increased more and more. You could see it in his happy and confident expression. We could hardly get him to stop. There no assembly required.After many weeks of use by my grandson, my husband turned the pogo upside down and lubricated the plunger with a 2-3 squirts of WD-40. That restored the original quieter, smoother full bouncing action of the pogo.This is really a wonderful toy because it keeps our grandson physically active while developing his balancing and jumping skills. He hardly misses a day with out doing at least some pogoing. I am going to buy one now for his younger sister for Christmas.I give it 5 STARS!

We received this for my 5 year old son and he just LOVES it! He weighs about 52 pounds and hasn't had an issue jumping on the pogo stick like some of the other reviews mentioned. Although he is quite active so perhaps he is bouncing harder than some others would. It's definitely very sturdy so it would be almost impossible to damage this pogo stick. We are extremely happy with it!

My daughter is a skinny girl, weighing under 50 lbs. While standing with full weight on the pogo stick and trying to jump, she is not heavy enough to make the springs budge. As an adult I can barely make them move myself. We were very disappointed.
