incredable bag that can hold all you need, and then some...
By stantondude
typical very good maxpedition quality and construction.I was looking for a new laptop bag to use to go to and from work. My old black samsonite laptop bag was looking kind of tired after several years.I wanted a comfortable over the shoulder strap.I wanted something other than black for a change.I wanted the bag to be able to easily carry:my laptop and accessoriesmy maxpedition fatboy edc pouch (love that pouch)a soft sided insulated lunch bag (the tall upright kind)umbrellapads and portfoliosmall first aid kita couple of bottles of water for the work dayand a thing or two more, depending upon my needs. So, I got the maxpedition aggressor in foliage green (love that color).well, this bag does all of the above and then some!my 15" laptop is 'swallowed' by this bag,my edc and insluated lunch bag fit in the main compartment with the laptop(separated by the velcor attached divider that comes with the bag),and there is still room in the main compartment!Quite frankly, in addition to the things above, I could put a change of clothes in this bag and still have room.I slapped on a US flag on the velcro field on the front pouch and I was good to go.If this is the type of capacity you are looking for in a bag/case, then this is the one for you.If this sounds like a bit too much bag for you, then look at the maxpedition 'operator' instead of the 'aggressor'.highly recommended bag for the exploited office worker.

Maxpedition Tactical Aggressor review
By Motochan
I was looking for a shoulder carry computer work bag that would stand up to the wear and tear of a field tech's abuse. I have been using this for about a month now and have to say I am extemely pleased with it's performance. It's large enough to carry my 15" laptop with room to spare and all the test cables, adapters, chargers, notebooks and all the other odds and ends a tech carries in their computer bag. The water bottle pouch is a real plus. Still haven't found a use for the large velcro sealed compartment yet but I'm sure I'll think of something. The only complaint is the padded shoulder strap, I thought they would have put some anti slip material on the surface but they didn't, the bag has a tendency to slip off the shoulder if you're carrying something in your hand on the same side the bag is shouldered on.The only option that would make it more useful would be a strap system that would allow me to carry the bag like a pack over longer distances on uneven terrain which on occasion I have to do.

Typical Max--well made, well thought out.

I have the Operator from Max and wanted a bigger bag for my MacBook Pro. The Aggressor certainly filled the bill for that and then some. Typical Maxpedition quality, meaning very well made. Nylon is ultra-tough, stitching is very, very good and most threads are trimmed appropriately. I say that because any nylon bag exhibits some threads that aren't trimmed absolutely perfectly, but I'm a stickler for that (pet peeve of mine) so I spent about 20 minutes with a small lighter and the threads NOW pass my inspection! This bag isn't *huge* per se, but it is approaching about as big as you'd like to carry when loaded. I could easily put in my MacBook Pro (15.4 inch model), all cords, all my business papers and not make a dent in this bag, so consider how large it is when you're stuffing it; it'll hold more than you'll appreciate on your shoulder in the airport. One big note to all of you road warriors out there...this bag *barely* and I do mean barely, fits in the overheads in the little regional jets so popular today. You may get it underfloor easier, but if you do choose to use the overheads in the little jets, it takes a minute to position it just so and into the bin correctly. Anything from an MD-80 and bigger, you're fine.Only gripe on this bag is Maxpedition's *cheaping out* on the shoulder strap; they use plastic attachment clips and I'll warn you in advance: they DO squeak when the bag is loaded. Why on a bag this well thought-out they chose to use plastic in lieu of metal, well, I'm sure a bean counter was involved *somewhere*. I haven't broken one yet and have never heard of one breaking, but if you're a purist, you may want to invest in an aftermarket strap, such as the excellent ones from Victorinox. Other than that minor quibble, I'm totally impressed with the Aggressor.
