My husband and I love to camp. We are now in our late 50s and no longer as lithe as young gazelles. I am no longer up to crawling in and out of a tent. This tent is tall enough for me to walk in and out of. Even my 6'4" husband can get in and out with a small duck of the head. Inside the tent, he can stand upright.This tent was our choice to be able to camp and be comfortable. It has exceeded our expectations.The weather protection was great. We had driving rain and strong winds. The tent did not get muggy or "close" even with the rain. The tent flapped some in the wind when set up with regular, provided stakes and poles. My husband bought some paracord and did additional staking the second night. With the additional support - 4 additional stakes - two on each of the short sides AND opening the side vents, the flapping was greatly reduced the second night. I never saw a drop of rain inside the tent. There was no moisture accumulation in the tent either.I bought a large and comfortable cot and the tent was large enough for each of us to sleep on a cot and still have plenty of floor room.The tent was easy to pitch. The poles snap together. There are two very long poles that cross each other. It is helpful to have one person hold the first pole while the second is being snapped together. With two of us working, it took less than 10 minutes to have the tent up and staked. We did find adding additional staking using the loops and additional cord to be helpful/Very happy with the tent.
