This is a tough and good looking cover for IPad 2. It fits very well and provides excellent protection for the front and the back of the Ipad. There is also a hole for the camera. all the controls are accessible easily.It does add some weight though, and it is slightly diffcult to get the Ipad into the slots.But it fits very well.It is also very convenient for travel.

I saw this in a store and thought, "Wow." It's extremely protective of the iPad. Upon doing more research I found the following from the Timbuk2 website regarding the iPad2. There is no information about the iPad3."*Fits the iPad (see below notes on fit if using for an iPad2).*Internal molded attachments for securing your iPad.*Folds to viewing mode and typing mode.*Luxurious faux fur lining protects the iPad's precious screen and sexy back.*If using with iPad2: Must remove the iPad2 from the Kickstand to use the rear camera properly.*If using with iPad2: SmartCover will not attach properly to the iPad2 when in the Kickstand.*If using with iPad2: Sleep/Wake button on the top of the iPad2 is not easily accessible when in the Kickstand."

I am a huge fan of timbuk2, and when I recently bought my ipad, I knew I wanted a timbuk2 case for it. The case matches my bag so I was excited until I received the product. I like that the ipad holders is very sturdy, but it's too hard! I tore my nail trying to get the ipad to go in place and I tore it again trying to get it out when I realized that the speakers were blocked in the back. I was also afraid that it would scratch the ipad. Also, the faux fur smells horrible. The bad and the good is 50/50 so I really want to like the case, but I can't. I wish that it was free returns because I would definitely return this item.
