This thing works quite well for carrying a small pack on a carbon bike. It's easy to mount and plenty strong, given it's low weight. The mating Topeak bag goes on and off easily and is convenient to use. Fully loaded for a weekend trip (staying in hotels) my rack and bag came to about 7 lbs, which is light enough not to be much of a drag.I found that the rack mounting settled-in a bit after the first few miles of riding, so be sure to tighten up the screws after a bit. And be sure that you don't use this on a carbon seatpost. Topeak says this in their user guide, but they could make it clearer in the sales literature.

The only thing I would suggest is there should be some help in picking hoe we should match up the gaskets with the post diameter. As it is now, it is guessing only.

Item is easy to install and great for carrying a laptop bag or small items! Would recommend or any one!
